Job Description:Job SummaryReporting to the Team Lead, Enterprise Commercial Systems, this role participates in Porter initiatives from conception through post-production support. As part of a small but growing team, the Intermediate Specialist, Enterprise Reservations will play a key role in enabling Porter’s rapidly expanding commercial environment by supporting and integrating the airline’s core commercial platforms including Passenger Service Systems (PSS), reservation platforms, airport and passenger management systems, loyalty, revenue management, pricing and distribution capabilities (including NDC).The role works across the broader enterprise ecosystem to integrate commercial systems with other critical corporate platforms such as Flight Operations, Finance, partner systems, Global Distribution Systems (GDS), digital channels and the enterprise data platform. The Enterprise Reservations Systems Intermediate Specialist is responsible for the analysis, design, testing, implementation, documentation, mentoring and ongoing support of Porter’s commercial technology platforms in a highly regulated, safety-sensitive, and mission-critical operational environment.Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead and support the implementation of enterprise commercial system initiatives including reservation platforms, passenger service systems (PSS), airport systems, loyalty platforms, revenue management and distribution capabilities.Serve as an internal subject matter expert and technical liaison for Porter’s commercial systems landscape.Provide second-level technical support and troubleshooting for commercial systems including reservation and airport operations platforms.Act as the primary Porter liaison with commercial system vendors and technology partners including reservation system providers and related commercial platform vendors.Support the integration of commercial systems with enterprise platforms including operations, finance, digital channels, distribution partners, and third-party service providers.Participate in the analysis, design, testing, and deployment of system enhancements and new commercial capabilities.Analyze existing business processes across commercial and airport operations and recommend improvements to optimize efficiency, scalability, and customer experience.Develop and maintain clear technical documentation, system architecture documentation, and operational support materials.Support concurrent projects and initiatives in a rapidly evolving airline operating environment.Ensure solutions support operational resilience, regulatory compliance, and safety-sensitive airline operations.Support financial oversight of projects in partnership with management to ensure initiatives are delivered within approved budgets.Participate in on-call support rotation for mission-critical commercial platforms.Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply with and promote the Company Safety Policy.Perform other duties as required by the Senior Manager, Enterprise Reservations Systems or Team Lead.

Qualifications3+ years of experience supporting airline commercial systems including Passenger Service Systems (PSS), reservation platforms, airport and passenger management systems, loyalty platforms, revenue management or airline distribution technologies.Experience working with airline commercial ecosystems including integrations with finance systems, operations platforms, digital channels, Global Distribution Systems (GDS) or partner platforms.Experience implementing, supporting, or enhancing enterprise operational systems in complex, customer-facing environments.Experience working with airline technology vendors and managing integrations across multiple enterprise systems.Demonstrated ability to analyze business processes and translate operational requirements into system solutions.Experience working in mission-critical environments where operational continuity, safety, and system reliability are essential.Strong documentation and communication skills with the ability to produce clear technical and user documentation.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including operations, finance, commercial, and technology groups.Comfort operating in a fast-paced airline environment where systems directly support live operational activity.Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, business, or a related discipline preferred.Experience with airline commercial platforms such as Navitaire, Amadeus, Sabre, or other passenger service systems is considered an asset.Bilingual capability (French) is an asset.
