Start Date: ASAP Overview:Our client is undergoing a large-scale data platform migration and is seeking a skilled Data Architecture Consultant to support a critical phase of a data migration.This is a short-term contract with flexibility for either full-time or part-time engagement.**LakeFS experience is required.** Key Responsibilities:
- Support the migration of data pipelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, particularly around multi-table transactional concurrency in LakeFS
- Assist with configuration and optimization of Unity Catalog workspaces
- Collaborate closely with the consulting and client-side teams to ensure a smooth transition
- Provide technical guidance and documentation to support the overall migration effort
- Proven hands-on experience with LakeFS and Databricks Unity Catalog
- Strong data engineering background with expertise in pipeline migration and ETL
- Databricks experience in enterprise environments (Certifications preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
