- Develop and maintain L1 to L3 mining schedule in accordance with Fluor and Client Standards and procedures, Resource Loading of schedule for Labor and Quantities, Update Labor & Quantities in Schedule, Analyze and report Mining schedule to required stakeholders as ascertained by the Project reporting structure.
- Implement the Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures.
- Analyze variances in schedule performance against the plan on regular time interval and provide forward looking strategies to mitigate variances
- Manage the project schedule and maintain the basis of schedule
- Actively communicate and collaborate with other project disciplines
- Interface with the project team
- Work together with Progress team to analyze Contractor’s progress
- Support/attend and implement Schedule Risk Analysis review actions
- Maintain working knowledge of the functionality of automated scheduling management systems
- Engage in the project change management process for implementation in the schedule and providing What If Analysis to support the Change process
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Analyze and make recommendations regarding solutions to problems
- Organize and prioritize a variety of multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines
- Plan and organize own work assignments
- Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
- Any planning or progress related additional works being tasked by Lead Planner to support project requirements.
- Facilitate/Lead the Mining area project and progress reviews with Internal and external stakeholders.
- Between 10-15 years of mining project experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English both written and verbal
- Job related technical knowledge
- Experience in Forensic Schedule Analysis
- Significant technical knowledge and practical experience with applicable software systems:
- Ability to learn and apply knowledge
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
- Bachelor or master’s degree (preferable but not required)
- Proven experience as a Mining Project Planner
- Industry specific experience in all facets and phases of a project: Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Startup
- Will be required to travel to Site occasionally or internationally for project related tasks and in support of business-related matters.
