- Perform accurate data entry, coding, and database maintenance
- Maintain and update study databases, ensuring data quality and integrity
- Prepare and organize research documentation
- Maintain and use participant data in a manner compliant with CAMH and applicable regulatory body policies
- Support administrative tasks including scheduling, calendar management, filing, and reconciliation of documents
- Assist with regulatory documentation, study amendments, and ethics-related materials
- Track study materials and supplies and prepare study materials as required
- Maintain compliance with mandatory training requirements
- Conduct literature searches using electronic research databases
- Assist with preparation of reports, presentations, abstracts, and study documentation
- Support knowledge translation and dissemination activities
- Work collaboratively with research staff, clinicians, scientists, and other stakeholders
- Provide regular project updates and contribute to study progress reporting
- Attend research meetings and support team communication
- Demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and attention to detail
- Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Work independently with minimal supervision while contributing as part of a team
- Handle confidential information with discretion and good judgment
- Support a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative workplace
- Perform other related research or administrative duties as assigned
- Completion of secondary school (Grade 12) or equivalent
- Postsecondary education or coursework in health, epidemiology, social sciences, psychology, neuroscience, biostatistics, or related fields is an asset
- Experience with genome-wide association study data quality control and analysis pipelines, polygenic risk score (PRS) calculation, as well as integration of different data types (genetic, proteomic, clinical, etc)
- Experience supporting clinical and/or longitudinal research studies
- Experience working with large public datasets such as CANPATH and CLSA using R
- Experience conducting literature searches using academic databases (e.g., PubMed, PsycINFO) is an asset
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
- Proficiency with Windows-based operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural and social backgrounds
- Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language is an asset
