- Reporting to the President at mobileLIVE, the VP Hyperscaler Business & Strategic Alliances will own the indirect go-to-market strategy for all partner programs, operations, and sales revenue for North America.
- This leader is responsible for the development and execution of programs to grow the value and contribution of the partner ecosystem across all routes to market.
- Facilitate a joint partner business planning process, defining mutual performance objectives, sales targets, and critical milestones to ensure partnership success aligned with mobileLIVE growth objectives.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with influential sales and product leadership, spanning C-level executives and decision-makers, to strategically enhance mobileLIVE market presence and fuel growth within the hyperscaler ecosystem.
- Work closely with sales, technical, and sourcing teams to strategically prioritize hyperscaler certification and specialization requirements, unlocking new sales opportunities and ensuring alignment with end-client needs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for our hyperscaler partnerships, addressing any issues or opportunities that arise.
- Spearhead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and operational aspects of hyperscaler partnerships to ensure optimal and mutually beneficial agreements.
- Leading the partnership initiative, they will collaborate with the sales, marketing, and delivery/technology teams to build a fully integrated partner strategy and ecosystem.
- This is a high impact, executive-level role, which carries a sales management quota and will play an integral role in the overall success of mobileLIVE.
- Develop and implement the overall partner and alliance strategy for mobileLIVE.
- Create and execute long-term and annual execution plans to reach the full potential of growth with our partners.
- Develop and implement a robust business planning process and operational cadence across all partnerships, which closely aligns to mobileLIVE’s growth ambitions.
- Foster executive relationships at partner organizations at all levels to drive success.
- Introduce and share best practices across the partnership teams.
- Build a metrics-driven organization through reporting, dashboards, and tracking channels, to provide actionable insight on performance and growth opportunities.
- Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and emerging products and technologies, providing valuable insights to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive marketplace advantage.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of hyperscaler partnerships, enabling data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Continuously monitor the hyperscaler market landscape, identifying emerging trends, technologies, and opportunities to drive the development and introduction of new, innovative solutions to the market.
- Identify incremental customer opportunities and assist in current sales pursuits where directed by the customer or sales teams.
- Partner closely with departments across mobileLIVE, including the Sales, Finance, Technology, Delivery, Marketing and Product organizations.
- 10+ years in a senior leadership role, running alliances and partnerships (SI’s) in the tech space.
- Experience serving as a partner/alliance's leader in the North American region.
- Strong understanding of hyperscaler services, solutions, and related competencies (Google, AWS, Microsoft).
- Proven experience leading and scaling a partner organization.
- Previous experience building partnerships with the hyperscalers, including Microsoft & Google
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth through partnerships with hyperscale cloud providers.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform sales strategies.
- A high-and-wide Rolodex of hyperscaler relationships spanning product and sales teams in the North American region.
- Excellent leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Experience with digital transformation, advanced analytics, and AI/ML technologies.
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate customer needs into innovative and scalable solutions.
- Understanding of the cloud market, and familiarity with the latest trends and developments.
