Context:We are looking for a Project Controls Specialist to join the team in Toronto Missions/Main Duties:Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities (including but not limited to)1. Control and apply the Project Controls Processes within the Project, and ensure compliance with mandated Process and Procedures2. Oversee and manage a team of project controls professionals, ensuring tasks are assigned and the team is supported with the tools to perform their roles3. Be an active point of escalation for the project controls team, through the Project Controls Director and above, working to provide a way forward4. Responsible for monthly Project Reporting as relates to Schedule, Cost, Risk & Estimating, and developing the appropriate channels for this information to be presented and shared5. Provide forecasted Schedule & Cost intelligence to support Client decision making, and where appropriate provide recovery and/or improvement scenarios that are to be considered6. Champion the Metrolinx Lean Agenda and actively review Project Controls Processes & Procedures on a regular basis to ensure they remain efficient & fit for purpose7. Be the custodian of the Project Baseline (Cost, Schedule, Scope & Risk), ensuring that all the governance and control procedures are in place to manage any changes to the Project Baseline8. Manage those baseline change initiatives that are required to proceed to approval committees (PEC, CCB, IP, TB), ensuring all governance is applied and stakeholders are engaged appropriately across all Client organizations9. Working with the Change Lead to assess & model any proposed changes as may impact Cost, Schedule, Scope or Risk10. Review and comment on DevCo submittals to Contracting Authority, including but not limited to schedule progress, cost performance, submittals, processes and procedures11. Overseeing the Document & Submittal Management and Reporting teams in the services provided across the Project12. Work with DevCo to ensure that all Project Controls Processes and Procedures are being followed appropriately, and collaboratively exploring any opportunity for improvement to the benefit of the Project13. Coordinating with Metrolinx, Infrastructure Ontario and contractor in developing and maintaining the project controls management plan14. To collaborate with DevCo and Contracting Authority to ensure high quality and transparent integrated design, procurement, construction and commission and handover schedules for the DPA and PA Contracts15. Attend and contribute to the Project Controls Management Meeting (Working Group)16. Any additional duties, as deemed necessary to support the deliverables and Key Activities during ASP 1. Profile/Skills:Technical Competencies1. Experience with Oracle Unifier or other Large ERP is preferred, Primavera P6 and PRA, Acumen Fuse (or similar)2. Excellent written, communications, organizational, presentation and people skills required· Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholdersEducation and Qualifications· Bachelor's degree or better.
