This role focuses on ensuring our cleanliness standards are upheld in all guest facing public areas around the resort. Our Public Spaces Attendants are valued for their attention to detail, time management skills and a self-starter attitude.Both Day and Evening Shifts AvailableDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provides daily cleaning and sanitation per standards, including but not limited to: Public Corridors, Washrooms, Changerooms, Activity Locations (Pool, Gym, Spa etc.), Restaurants, and HOST AreasMaintains equipment in a clean and proper working order, reporting any concerns in a timely mannerEnsures correct placement of Furniture, Fixtures & EquipmentRecognizes and greets all guests and team members with a smileEnsures the well-being of our guests and team members by being alert to and reporting potential hazardsModels all Deerhurst Resort Standards while caring for guests, co-workers and ownersResponds to direct guest requests in an empathetic and timely mannerEnsures communication of maintenance issues in a timely mannerProvides support per the Emergency Response Plan as directed by the Supervisor, Duty Manager and/or Senior Leader on-siteCompletes all other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:Guest oriented with a sincere, helpful, caring and friendly personalityPhysically fit and able to bend, push, pull and lift continuously throughout the dayAble to take initiative within given guidelinesPays precise attention to detail, order and cleanlinessTime management and works well under pressureHas flexibility and professionalismAble to identify problems and make recommendations for improvementsPHYSICAL ASPECTS OF POSITION (include but are not limited to):Able to move up and down stairs frequentlyAble to occasionally work outdoors in seasonal temperaturesAble to lift, bend, carry + move constantly 11 to 29 pounds, frequently 30 to 49 pounds, infrequently 50 to 75 poundsThe Perks for All Team Members
