Here’s what you’ll do:Respond to plan inquiries and requests from clients promptly and professionallyAssist in calculating and processing timely payment of termination, retirement, and death benefits for simple plansSupport the consulting team in fostering strong relationships with clientsHelp coordinate information flow between clients and trusteesAssist in reconciling plan assets and plan membershipsSupport the preparation of year-end annual pension statementsAssist in preparing membership and asset data for actuarial valuationsApply and interpret basic pension benefit calculations in accordance with plan provisions and legislative requirementsWork with pension databases to ensure data accuracyAttend internal training sessions to stay updated on industry trends and topicsParticipate in client meetings and presentations to add valueAssist with special projects as required to support team goalsWhat you bringWe’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with:A keen interest in pension administration and a desire to learnPost-secondary education (preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science) or relevant courses related to Pension AdministrationBasic knowledge of Defined Benefit pension plans and provincial pension and tax legislation (an asset, but not required)Strong analytical and mathematical skillsA strong client service focus with exceptional professional acumenThe ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with easeExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAre you ready to join a team where your enthusiasm and dedication make a difference?
