If you work for the Alberta Public Service, you also rely on Service Alberta and Red Tape Reduction for employee services such as payroll and benefits.To learn more about us, please visit:Role ResponsibilitiesAs the Print Manager, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
  • Provide leadership, operational direction, motivation, and support necessary to 5 direct reports and 15 indirect perform their responsibilities in proficient manner
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships between the Ministries, Service Alberta, Print Services and service providers
  • Monitor all expenditures to ensure expenditures and revenue as in accordance with guidelines
  • Identifying yearly capital expenditures and procure assets.
  • Oversees the sustainment of Print Services print management software system

QualificationsQualification: University degree in Business Management, Technology or a related field plus 4 years of supervisory or management experience.Equivalency: Directly related education or experience considered on the basis of: 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or 1 year of experience for 1 year of education.The incumbent is required to have:
  • Work experience and knowledge of operational business processes and practices within a diverse service setting.
  • Work experience in managing complex projects.
The following are considered Assets
  • Previous experience in a production print environment
  • Previous knowledge of mainframe
  • Experience conducting procurements within the GA framework is an asset.
  • Experience in managing large budgets, and forecasts
