Hiring: Change Management Specialist
Edmonton (Onsite)We are seeking an experienced Change Management Specialist to support a large-scale transformation initiative within the Strategic Procurement Office under the PST Program. This role will play a critical part in driving stakeholder readiness, communication, training, and adoption across multiple business streams.Location: Edmonton, AB (5 days onsite)
Work Hours: 8:15 AM 4:30 PM (Alberta Time)
Pay Rate: $80-$85
Job Type: Contract
Background Check: Mandatory Role OverviewYou will work closely with program leadership, business teams, and technical stakeholders to design and execute structured change management strategies that support successful implementation and adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute change management strategies for a complex transformation program
  • Create stakeholder impact assessments, readiness plans, and communication strategies
  • Develop training materials including guides, job aids, presentations, and FAQs
  • Support training planning, scheduling, and delivery coordination
  • Draft clear communications for leadership, stakeholders, and broader audiences
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions, workshops, and alignment meetings
  • Translate technical changes into business-friendly messaging and learning content
  • Track risks, issues, dependencies, and provide regular status updates
  • Support rollout planning and measure adoption, readiness, and training effectiveness
Must-Have Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in change management roles applying structured methodologies
  • 7+ years of experience developing training materials and documentation
  • 7+ years of experience creating stakeholder communication materials
Nice to Have
  • Prosci Change Management Certification
  • 5+ years in readiness planning, stakeholder engagement, or training programs
  • Experience leading change and communication strategies
  • Experience with public sector transformation
  • Experience working on digital transformation programs
Additional Information
  • Fully onsite role (5 days/week in Edmonton)
