
Sustainable Buildings Specialist

- Communicate with clients and coordinate with the team and other disciplines to deliver on client needs as they relate to Sustainability and Climate Risk.
- Lead design and constructions teams through the sustainable building process.
- Work within established sustainability frameworks including LEED, BuiltGreen, Green Globes, Envision, etc.
- Lead or assist in conducting climate risk and resilience assessments to design for a changing climate.
- Prepare presentations, and present to clients and industry as required.
- Coordinate meetings with clients, design team, and project stakeholders to define sustainability goals and review project progress.
- Understand, prepare, monitor, and adhere to project schedule and budget.
- Be a champion for sustainability in your projects, display a positive problem-solving attitude and commitment to sustainable outcomes.
- Be a mentor for those around you and employees you work with, to help build the next generation of go to sustainability folk at Entuitive.
- Demonstrate knowledge in Sustainable Performance via continuous learning and education of trends in sustainability in the industry and systems required to achieve circular, low-carbon, and community focused projects.
- Completion of an educational program in construction management, sustainability, engineering, environmental sciences, building sciences or another related field.
- Experience in managing all aspects of LEED projects. (LEED Online, financials, clients, etc)
- Demonstrated commitment to sustainability through industry speaking or publication opportunities is an asset.
- Knowledge of, and familiarity with, the construction industry and sustainable building trends, codes, and standards. Construction management work experience is an asset.
- LEED AP, ENVSP, or equivalent qualifications.
- Familiarity with financial reporting and budgeting.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with climate resilience is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to manage complex situations with multiple stakeholders.
- Self-driven individual who shows initiative and respect in dealing with others.
- Experience using and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam Revu, etc.
- A positive attitude, confidence, and a good sense of humor.
- Flexible working hours, 37.5 hour work week.
- Minimum 3 days a week in office. Building strong relationships and collaborating internally is important to us!
