Supervise all bus routes and schedules
Advise and supervise drivers and instructors
Manage a large number of telephone and radio communications
Receive and report driver and schedule complaints to the Operations Supervisor/Manager
Act as first responder for communications with a major client
May be responsible for on-demand bookings, billing and payroll calculations for drivers
Provide solutions to pickup and delivery problems
Compile driver workdays and perform various administrative tasks as required
Take over assignments and special projects
Assist in the supervision of daily operationsDispatcher experience and skills required:
3 to 5 years of experience
Class 2 driver's license is required
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic knowledge of radio dispatch equipment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Previous experience as a driver, dispatcher or telecommunications worker.
Computer literacy
