Our production team is currently looking for an industrial mechanic or electromechanic.SummaryWe are seeking a candidate to mechanically assemble these harvesting heads, including hydraulic and electrical components. The selected individual will be responsible for the assembly (from A to Z) and final testing of forestry products, particularly harvesting heads, brush cutters, and multiprocessor heads. The assembly of new products is done directly at our factory, thus indoors, in a clean, safe, and friendly environment. The products are of high complexity, making the work very motivating.Special SkillsUse of measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, etc.);Basic knowledge of mathematics;Basic knowledge of reading blueprints;The selected candidate must demonstrate a very good ability to read blueprints and the ability to operate equipment such as overhead cranes;Good dexterity;Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems (an asset);Ability to communicate in English (an asset).Skills:Attention to detail and concern for the quality of work performed;Analytical and synthetic thinking;Ability to solve problems while adhering to best practices;Ability to work harmoniously in a multidisciplinary team;Safety-oriented;Ability to work in a constantly changing environment.Requirements:Training in mechanics or electromechanics.Experience in heavy machinery mechanics.Attention to detail.Experience in problem-solving and repair.Good ability to read complex mechanical schematics and drawings.Knowledge and ease in understanding electrical, electronic, and hydraulic systems.Meticulousness and motivation.Assets: Experience in mobile forestry machinery mechanics, ideally with multiprocessor harvesting heads.General Expectations:That established procedures are respected and improved in consultation with the relevant individuals;That work is carried out efficiently, professionally, promptly, and courteously;That the success of the team (the company) takes precedence over individual achievement;That the organization's commitment (quality, price, delivery) remains the ultimate common goal;That individual commitments are respected;That health and safety rules are a priority.Job Type: Full-time, PermanentExpected Hours: 40 per week
