Senior Project Manager – Aviation/Transit
Toronto, ONA global architecture and engineering firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex Aviation transportation infrastructure projects from their Toronto office. The firm works across multiple international markets and brings together multidisciplinary teams of architects and engineers to deliver large-scale infrastructure and civic projects.This role will focus on the delivery of aviation, transit, and multimodal transportation projects, supporting clients across both the public and private sectors. The successful candidate will oversee project planning, coordination, and execution while ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual commitments.The position requires a strong leader who can manage complex project teams, maintain client relationships, and oversee project financial performance throughout all phases of delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesLead transportation infrastructure projects from planning through deliveryDevelop and manage project scope, work plans, schedules, and budgetsCoordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and consultantsOversee quality assurance and quality control for project documentation and deliverablesMonitor project financial performance and forecast revenueManage project changes and negotiate solutions with clients when scope adjustments occurCoordinate with contractors, sub-consultants, and authorities having jurisdictionAct as the primary client liaison, maintaining strong client relationshipsQualificationsDegree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline15+ years of professional experience managing complex design and infrastructure projectsExperience delivering transportation-related projects, including aviation or transit infrastructureFamiliarity working with major public agencies such as airport authorities, transit agencies, or regional infrastructure bodies is considered an assetStrong understanding of building systems, codes, permits, and construction documentationProven experience in project financial management, strategic planning, and client leadershipExcellent leadership, communication, and coordination skillsWhat the Firm OffersOpportunity to work on large-scale transportation infrastructure projectsCollaboration with a multidisciplinary international teamFlexible work environment with hybrid and remote work optionsCompetitive compensation in the range of $120,000 – $170,000 annuallyApply to kim@citybuildrecruitment.com or erik@citybuildrecruitment.com
