  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and address security risks.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activity.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
  • Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering the building.
  • Provide excellent customer service to tenants and visitors, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally and courteously.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
  • Be comfort working within the interior & exterior of the premises/property & Capable of standing and walking for a duration of up to 12 hours
  • Working within a team environment and handling assigned tasks in a timely manner
  • Complete accurate and detailed incident reports as required.
Qualifications:Valid Ontario Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR6 month /1 year of security experience, w/ preferably in a Healthcare, Mall/Retail, Campus, Gov't site.A diploma in the field of security or law enforcement is an assetHaving a Personal Vehicle & Valid Ontario Drivers License (G2/G) is an assetExcellent observational skills and attention to detail.Strong communication, ability to be calm under distress and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in using security equipment and technology.Comfort with two-way radio communication/dispatch and/or CCTV softwareApproaches situations with the mindset to de-escalate and/or situational awarenessAbility to problem solve, effective with crowd management and use discretion and good judgmentShares and adheres to our values - REACH (Respect, Empathy, Accountability, Courtesy and HonestyPay: $18 to $24What we offer:Extensive Fundamental Security Training & DevelopmentExtended Health BenefitsCareer Growth"Disclaimer:Our recruitment and selection process does not involve the use of artificial intelligence or automated decision-making systems.
