Rope Access Electrician (Level 1, 2, or 3)We are looking for a qualified journeyman Electrician with an IRATA Certification to join our team.As part of our organizational philosophy, we like our field workers to have the full understanding of “heat management” This involves knowing the Insulation aspect and be willing to learn the electrical aspect as well. In this role we are looking for an insulator willing to learn the electrical side of heat management and gain skills in a trade different from their own.The CompanyMSCP provides highly innovative technical and organizational solutions for Heat Management in the Energy sector. What we offer is a highly cooperative work environment where professional development, empowerment, open and frank communication and win-win relationships are paramount.Role ResponsibilitiesRead & interpret blueprints, Isometrics, and electrical schematicsManaging the training facility and equipment including Configuring the facility to provide professional grade training and instruction as needed; Performing equipment inspections as per regulatory requirements; Completing facility and equipment audits as per IRATA guidelines.Install & remove heat trace in accordance with specified standardsWorking with power and hand toolsElectrical installs, wiring and cable pulls.QA, testing and commissioning of electrical and heat trace componentsUse of digital Work packages and quality documentsParticipate collaboratively in work group.Use of good problem-solving critical thinking and communication skillsAdherence with safety requirements and policies, LOTO etc.Active participation in HSE ProgramAbility to complete extensive in-house training programRole requirementsIRATA Rope AccessElectrical Journeyman CertificateKnowledge of electrical heat trace (EHT) installations and commissioningCPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), H2S Alive trainingValid driver's license - Driving record check (abstract)High level Microsoft and computer skills required.Familiarity with Procore or digital construction management software considered an assetKnowledge with EHT control systems an asset.Personal SuitabilityJudgement, Excellent written communication, Organized, Client focus, Excellent oral communication, Team player, Accurate, Flexibility, Effective interpersonal skills, ReliabilitySalary: Minimum $46.50 per hourBenefits:Dental careExtended health carePaid time offVision careSchedule: 10-hour shiftsJob Type: Full-time, PermanentAdditional pay:Overtime payWork Location: In person
