The MCP promotes full-scope clinical practice, ensures compliance with professional and regulatory standards, and leads quality improvement initiatives.This role provides clinical oversight, staff leadership, and mentorship across professional and paraprofessional teams.Key Responsibilities
- Lead clinical quality, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure holistic client assessments and client‑centered care plans
- Visit clients as needed; manage service delivery and client/HCP matching
- Investigate and resolve client, family, funder, and employee concerns
- Recruit, supervise, coach, and evaluate field staff
- Lead training, mentorship, and performance management activities
- Coordinate with funders, care teams, and government programs
- Support branch operations, including on‑call clinician access as required
- Ensure privacy, health & safety, and regulatory compliance
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (LPN/RN)
- Current registration in good standing with the provincial regulatory body
- CPR certification and negative TB status
- Specialty nursing certifications (e.g., CNA, LEAP, deSouza) are an asset
- Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership or supervisory nursing experience (community setting preferred)
- Experience leading training and education initiatives
- Strong understanding of HR practices and policy interpretation
- Business development experience is an asset
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and lead high‑performing teams
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
- Clear criminal background check, including vulnerable sector search
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, EHRs, virtual platforms)
