The majority of the positions the Casual Pool staffs are administrative in nature however from time-to-time there is a requirement for specialized skills in the below fields:

  • Finance
  • Event Planning / Coordination
  • Information Technology
  • Website Development / Design
  • Communications / Social Media
  • Human Resources
  • Payroll
Qualifications:In addition to experience in one (1) or more of the field stated above, the incumbent must possess the following qualifications:
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to demonstrate adaptability and flexibility when working in a fast paced environment;
  • Able to develop and maintaining productive working relationships while working collaboratively to achieve identified goals and objectives;
  • Able to effectively deliver quality products and services by demonstrating prioritization, planning and organizations skills, commitment to quality and efficiency;
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook. A knowledge of Banner, FAST and Access/databases would be an asset;
  • Able to work well independently and as part of a team as well as demonstrate judgment and decision making skills to deal with competing priorities;
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving, multitasking and time management skills;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to create, edit and/or format correspondence and various documents.
Education and Experience:The above normally is acquired through the completion of a post-secondary college / university degree, training or an equivalent and two (2) or more years of work experience in one (1) or mores of the fields below:
  • Accounting / Bookkeeping
  • Finance
  • Event Planning / Coordination
  • Information Technology
  • Website Development / Design
  • Communications / Social Media
  • Human Resources
  • Payroll
