
Foreman / Site Lead Modular Construction - Edmonton

- supervising site personnel, assisting with scheduling, enforcing safety protocols, maintaining daily documentation, and supporting the Superintendent in resolving on-site issues such as material delays or workflow conflicts.
- Acts as a mentor to junior crew members and apprentices, ensuring that safety standards and construction best practices are upheld.
- Brings a combination of technical expertise, leadership, and strong communication skills, with the flexibility to work on diverse projects and travel as needed within Alberta and Western Canada.
- 3–5 years of hands-on construction experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, project specifications, and construction documents
- Solid understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations
- Strong computer skills for documentation and communication
- CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 required; First Aid, Fall Protection, or other safety certifications are assets
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel for out-of-town projects when required
- Ability to manage site personnel, subcontractors, and schedules effectively
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Clear and professional communication with team members, suppliers, and project leadership
- Leadership and mentoring ability to support safe and high-quality work
- Excellent time management and task prioritization in dynamic site environments
- Site-based role in varying indoor and outdoor weather conditions
- Physically active position with walking, standing, lifting, and equipment handling
- Travel between project locations as required
- Flexible hours including occasional overtime depending on project needs
