What we’re looking for from you – If this describes you, we’d love to meet!
  • Adhere to Alstar’s Safety Management Program
  • Lead all company policies and procedures and insure they are being followed
  • Supervise workforce (generally over 30 workers)
  • Be able to read P & ID’s, plot plans, isometrics, structural steel, piling drawings
  • Have full understanding of measuring pipe and Acorn use
  • Have a thorough understanding of relevant construction processes
  • Ensure the development of workers in the Competency Program
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with the clients at all times
  • Keep focused on the corporate needs and applying them to the tasks that the crews on site are working on
  • Be responsible for the daily operations on site
  • Maintain constant communication with Project Manager
  • Be able to speak on behalf of Alstar, as the key point of contact for the client and on site management team
  • Organize and schedule resources (labour/equipment) and workflow to ensure the project is moving efficiently to meet expectations in a safe, professional and timely manner
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the Quality Management Program
  • Complete cost reporting and tracking
  • Administer change order tracking and reporting
  • Monitor project budget, in cooperation with Project Manager
  • Ensure Quality Management Program is being following
  • Subtrade Management - Civil, E&I, Insulation, Scaffolding, etc.
Where our projects are located:
  • Our projects happen in 4 major sites in Western Canada, which include locations like Conklin AB, Grande Prairie AB, Whitecourt AB and Fort St. John BC.
  • You will be required to travel on your own, by vehicle. Alstar does provide a flat rate to cover travel.
