What you will do
- Greet our employees and customers by determining their coffee interests and needs.
- Inform people by introducing and explaining the coffee menu and answering questions.
- Prepare coffees following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffees such as espressos, lattes and cappuccinos.
- Maintain inventory by replenishing coffee beans, and coffee making equipment, as well as coffee bar supplies.
- Keeps equipment functional by following operating instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to the organization's health standards and regulations.
- Assist the conference center staff if needed
- Knowledge / experience in coffee shop environment, understanding different coffee drinks, brewing methods
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Good ability to manage stress and prioritize tasks in a busy environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
- Self-motivated and resourceful
- Ability to contribute ideas to improve the service offering
- Work weekdays only, Weekends off!
