About the Opportunity
  • Responsible for full-cycle accounting and financial reporting for a publicly listed company in the resource sector, along with related investment and operating entities, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages.
  • Manage Accounts Payable, HST filings, corporate tax support (T2), and assist with audit processes and external tax advisors.
  • Support capital markets and strategic initiatives, including subsidiary reporting, investment and trading summaries for executives, and maintaining books for affiliated holding and investment entities.
About You:
  • 2+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
  • Experience working in a public accounting firm
  • Exposure to payroll; pay processing, remittances, T4 prep/review
  • Strong technical foundation in financial statement preparation, corporate tax (T2) support, HST filings, and audit coordination, with hands-on experience using an ERP system and advanced Excel for reporting and analysis.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a growing interest in capital markets, public company reporting, and the unique accounting considerations of resource-sector and investment-focused organizations.
Pay Range:
