Schedule: Continental / Rotating ShiftsAs our next Licensed Electrician, you will be responsible for the programming, debugging, installation, start‑up, and ongoing maintenance of production and test equipment. - Maintaining and repairing facilities and production equipment in collaboration with Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams
- Assembling, debugging, installing, and starting up new or modified production equipment
- Performing repair, refurbishment, and construction of CNC, PLC, and robotic‑based manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems
- Supporting planned maintenance activities and emergency repairs
- Maintaining up‑to‑date equipment documentation, including technical manuals and electrical schematics
- Ensuring compliance with all Quality Management and Environmental Health & Safety systems
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Training apprentices and new hires on electrical standards and best practices
- Maintaining an organized and well‑equipped maintenance department
- Performing other related duties as required
- Certificate of Qualification as an Electrician (442A or 309A)
- Minimum 3 years of experience maintaining CNC machining and automated assembly equipment in a high‑volume manufacturing environment
- Strong hands‑on experience with:
- Electrical assembly and machine repair
- PLC, CNC, and automated control systems
- Fanuc robotics
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Welding and basic manual machining (asset)
- Knowledge of automotive quality systems and standards
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills
- High integrity, reliability, and results‑oriented mindset
- Willingness to work rotating/continental shifts
- High‑volume manufacturing environment
- Exposure to industrial equipment and automation systems
- Shift work, including rotating or continental schedules
