- Timekeeping/Payroll for plant, back up support for sister plants and contingent workforce.
- Assist with the full cycle recruitment process of our General Labour and Part-Time labour pool, including screening, evaluation, interviewing and onboarding candidates
- Manage Part-Time workforce, scheduling, and all correspondences, back up scheduling support for contingent workforce.
- Initial point of contact for employee touchpoints.
- Oversee HR Orientation for new hires.
- Input all onboarding documents in to the HRIS system, new hires into PPE vending machine and request access badges.
- Distribute, collect, and retain training documents.
- Administer clothing allowance program through Cintas.
- Provide administrative support to key departments at respective facility.
- Open and distribute incoming regular and electronic mail and other material, co-ordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments and organizations.
- Order and maintain office supply inventory.
- Answer and relay phone and electronic enquiries.
- Assist in the organization of company events
- Greet visitors, verify ID, ascertain nature of business and direct visitors to appropriate personnel.
- High school diploma or 1-3 years experiences in an administrative type role
- Experience administering payroll processes
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint
- Experience working with sensitive and confidential information
