
Analyst, Sales Performance

- Participate with Corporate & Agency Sales teams in market research to understand travel trends, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics
- Work with Director, Sales Planning as well as RM to set competitive sales incentive strategies and define business case for distribution cost optimization
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and pricing/incentive effectiveness to identify opportunities for revenue growth and maximize profitability
- Support the development of sales targets and market/channel segmentation plans
- Develop, implement, and track sales incentive strategies for various markets and B2B channel/segments including the use of soft dollar resources (waivers, favors, complimentary vouchers, VIPorter benefits)
- Create dashboards and reporting tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Power BI)
- Work with Sales, BI, Network Planning, Enterprise data and RM teams to extract insights from DDS, PRISM, and internal data sources
- Together with Director, Sales Planning, forecast future sales using historical data and economic indicators
- Evaluate the performance of sales campaigns, promotions, and pricing strategies, making recommendations for improvement
- Assist in pricing, revenue, and commission model development to analyze (what if) scenarios that inform commercial decisions
- Partner with internal stakeholders across Sales, Revenue Management, BI, Finance, Enterprise data and Network Planning to stay informed and align on strategic objectives
- Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazards and incidents; understand, comply with, and promote the Company Safety Policy
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business analysis, or sales performance roles
- Experience in airline commercial teams preferred (e.g. Sales planning, Revenue Management, Network Planning, Marketing)
- Degree in: Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Finance, Computer Science, or similar preferred
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with airline business models and commercial performance drivers
- Knowledge of DDS, PRISM, and other airline sales data tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Clear and persuasive communication
- Team-oriented with strong cross-functional collaboration
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy in reporting and forecasting
- Proactive approach to identifying opportunities and process improvements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, R, or SAS
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong time management and organizational skills
