The leader in this role will play a pivotal part in further developing the Service teams owner direct/service project abilities.Key Responsibilities:
  • Design & Development: Lead the design of BAS systems, including control panel layouts, wiring diagrams,
and sequence of operations. * Standards Management: Develop and deliver appropriate BAS design standards that meet projectrequirements. * Documentation & Reporting: Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including systemarchitecture diagrams and equipment schedules. * Quality Assurance: Review and approve design documents to ensure compliance with industry standardsand client specifications. * Client Engagement: Act as a primary technical contact for clients, participate in presentations andworkshops to align expectations, as necessary. * Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and field technicians to aligndesign solutions with project requirements. * Technical Collaboration: Work with Service Team members to develop and present innovative technicalsolutions. * Operational Management: Assist Sr. Leadership with labour planning, cost estimation and forecasting.Qualifications & Skills:
  • Experience: 5+ years in BAS design, with 3 years in a leadership role (preferred).
  • Professional Engineer (preferred) with relevant certifications in Building Automation Systems or
related fields. * Experience working with a full range of commercial and industrial BAS projects (preferred).
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in HVAC systems, control strategies, and communication protocols.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in Visio, AutoCAD, and other relevant design tools.
  • Leadership & Communication: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage
