
Planning and Scheduling Coordinator

- Providing training and managing environments for P6 scheduling software; including end user support, testing, and documentation.
- Support PCL software applications for the Planning, Scheduling and Lean processes including document organization and training.
- Testing and evaluating new software solutions, including developing adoption plans and training.
- Supporting district champions and chairing meetings.
- Organizing Planning, Scheduling and Lean user group events.
- Assisting with department coordination and documentation.
- Drafts and reviews planning and scheduling directives, business guides and standard operating procedures.
- Traveling to operational districts as required to provide project support and training.
- Other related responsibilities as required.
- Postsecondary education or training in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 8 years of construction experience in an operational role preferred.
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including technical writing.
- Ability to work well and collaborate with a close-knit group of construction services subject matter experts who guide, mentor, and train project and district teams throughout North America.
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Utilizes critical thinking skills to analyze situations and develop innovative solutions.
- Strong skills with Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to quickly learn new software solutions.
- Working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings, and specifications, building material and required standards applicable by discipline.
- Experience in commercial construction scheduling and P6 or P6 EPPM.
- Ability to establish strong working relationships with operational districts and applicable champions.
