- Drive the deployment and integration of CORE methodologies across the facility to enhance operational excellence and meet business goals.
- Partner with functional leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement data-driven solutions.
- Facilitate workshops, Kaizen events, and training sessions to foster a continuous improvement culture within the organization.
- Utilize CORE tools and techniques (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Visual Management, Lean Six Sigma, etc…) to identify inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in CORE tools and techniques, providing training and support to cross-functional teams.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of CORE initiatives and provide regular updates to leadership.
- Support the development and execution of site-level CORE roadmaps, ensuring alignment with broader RTX objectives.
- Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and other teams to align CORE goals with overall business objectives.
- Drive CORE / Continuous Improvement culture throughout the facility including maturation of CORE Framework requirements
- The selected candidate will Achieve the following milestones: CORE Champion certification within 1st year of employment, CORE Professional certification within two years, and CORE Expert certification within five years
- A degree/diploma in Manufacturing, Operations or Business Management or a related field (Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical preferred).
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in operations, manufacturing, or process improvement roles.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proven track record of leading process improvement projects with quantifiable results.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s in Engineering, or equivalent).
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Experience working in an aerospace or defense environment.
- Familiarity with RTX CORE Operating System principles and tools.
