- Lead the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual HSE performance reports
- Review incident and operational data to identify trends, emerging risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and analytical tools to support leadership and decision-making
- Prepare executive-level reporting, including Weekly Target Zero reporting
- Support the HSE team in identifying data-driven, proactive strategies to prevent incident recurrence and support organizational learning
- Act as the HSE team lead for HSE-related reporting systems and technology
- Develop, administer, and maintain Microsoft Forms used for proactive and internal HSE reporting
- Address end-user questions and concerns related to HSE reporting tools, working in conjunction with IT as required
- Monitor, analyze, and report on HSE KPIs, including incident trends, proactive reporting indicators, and driving performance across all Trican operations
- Manage and support Samsara IVMS reporting, data quality, and performance trending
- Support continuous improvement of HSE data collection, reporting processes, and system integrations
- Coordinate and track revisions to HSE standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Conduct, coordinate, and facilitate workplace inspections and compliance audits
- Complete monthly Hours of Service (HOS) auditing
- Maintain records related to driver compliance, including driver abstracts, traffic violations, AMVIR agreements, and related documentation
- Support the maintenance of Trican's Certificate of Recognition (COR) program
- Support incident reporting, investigation documentation, corrective actions, and follow-up tracking
- Coordinate emergency response drills, including planning, scheduling, organization, and communication with relevant departments
- Assist in the development, coordination, and maintenance of emergency preparedness and response plans
- Support emergency management documentation, reporting, and after-action reviews following drills or incidents
- Other duties as assigned.
- Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety, occupational hygiene, data analysis, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in HSE, HSE analytics, performance reporting, or related administrative or analytical roles (internship experience welcome); progress toward a CRSP, CRST, or CSP designation is preferred
- Demonstrated experience with HSE KPI reporting, data analysis, performance measurement, and management of recurring reporting cycles and deadlines
- Experience supporting Emergency Management programs, including preparedness planning, exercise coordination, documentation, and post-exercise or post-incident review
- Knowledge of workplace hazards, risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis, and support of field safety programs across diverse operations
- Knowledge of Transport Canada Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and National Safety Code requirements, including compliance auditing and reporting
- Knowledge of the Certificate of Recognition (COR) program, including audit support, documentation and evidence management, and ongoing certification maintenance
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience or aptitude in Power BI and Microsoft Forms; familiarity with Samsara, Salesforce, Articulate, and Workday is an asset
- Solid understanding of Alberta OHS legislation and regulatory requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Valid Standard First Aid and a driver's license
