- University degree/technical diploma or a Journeyperson trades certification or extensive experience in a relevant field.
- Management experience leading maintenance teams within manufacturing.
- Experience with maintenance planning, condition monitoring, shutdown execution and implementing reliability programs.
- Experience with project management, including capital projects.
- Experience maintaining a large maintenance budget.
- Proven ability to manage change.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and maintenance processes.
- Knowledge and experience in OSB manufacturing is an asset.
- Be responsible for planning and organizing maintenance activities.
- Lead and promote a strong safety-first culture, ensuring all maintenance work complies with provincial OH&S legislation and company standards.
- Manage the safe, reliable, and cost-effective maintenance of OSB mill equipment and facilities.
- Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Oversee maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution, including planned shutdowns and major repairs.
- Lead, coach, and develop a skilled maintenance team, supporting training, certification, and skill growth.
- Monitor equipment performance and downtime, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure effective use of the CMMS for work orders, asset history, preventive maintenance, and parts tracking.
- Prepare and manage the maintenance operating and capital budgets, balancing cost control with reliability.
- Track and report key maintenance performance indicators, including uptime, PM compliance, and maintenance costs.
- Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and reliability improvements in collaboration with operations and engineering.
- Coordinate and manage external contractors and service providers, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
- Maintain clear communication and strong collaboration with operations, leadership, and support teams.

- You’ll earn a competitive salary based on your skills and experience. The expected base salary range for this position is $117,000 to $156,000/year.
- You'll earn an additional northern allowance on top of your base pay.
