- Develop and deliver engaging lecture and assessment materials for assigned chemistry courses, ensuring they meet the needs of a diverse student population.
- Apply effective and inclusive teaching strategies across lectures, laboratories, and tutorials to foster student learning.
- Evaluate and document student performance through fair and consistent assessment practices; maintain accurate grade records.
- Provide academic support and guidance to students both inside and outside the classroom.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute actively to departmental initiatives and activities.

Successful candidates will participate in a wide range of activities outside the classroom, including student support; institutional, faculty and departmental committee meetings and other initiatives; and professional activities in keeping with their disciplines in and outside the institution.Required Qualifications:PhD in Chemistry, or related field. Candidates who hold a Master's degree and have relevant teaching or industry experience may be considered.
- Demonstrated expertise in inorganic chemistry.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to teach safely and effectively in laboratory environments.
- PhD in Chemistry with specialization in inorganic chemistry.
- Experience teaching in a post-secondary setting.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (e.g., D2L/Brightspace).
- Knowledge and understanding of diverse learning needs and inclusive teaching practices.
