- Create clear requirement definitions and workflows to support information system development
- Prepare feasibility assessments, business cases, and analytical documents, including cost estimates
- Advise on the effective strategic and day‑to‑day use of information technology
- Gather and documents requirements for application implementation and custom software development
- Work closely with technical teams to identify and address functional gaps
- Collaborate directly with end users to ensure expectations are understood and managed
- Solid understanding of system development, integration, and implementation approaches
- Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
- Experience in a public utility environment is an asset
- Experience with testing and user acceptance testing for enterprise applications is an asset
- Flexibility to take on both Business Analysis and Quality Assurance (testing) responsibilities is an asset
- Experience working as a Business Analyst within an application development team is an asset
- Ability to manage small to medium working groups, including creating and maintaining documentation, plans, schedules, and supporting all phases of project planning
- Experience writing Agile user stories and performing Scrum Master duties is an asset
- Experience coordinating complex activities and facilitating workshops
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships
- At least 5 years of professional experience in information technology
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a Business Analyst role
