- Oversee quality assurance to meet regulatory standards and exceed customer expectations.
- Lead HR functions including recruitment, development, and performance management.
- Support apprenticeship programs and build relationships with technical institutions.
- Guide contractor negotiations and evaluate service performance.
- Coordinate planned maintenance shutdowns with cross-functional teams.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in agri-business facility maintenance or construction, including bulk material handling systems, with 5+ years in a supervisory role or equivalent.
- Proven expertise in facility construction and maintenance methods, practices, and standards.
- Grade 12 education, supplemented by journeyperson status in an industrial trade. A degree or diploma in Agriculture, Business Administration, or Commerce is considered an asset.
- Strong ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications.
- Proficiency in planning and scheduling.
- Experienced in developing and managing contracts with external service providers.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly, including managing regional maintenance functions remotely (estimated 6–10 nights per month).
- Proficient in computer applications, including spreadsheets, databases, and word processing tools.
