The Payroll Administrator is directly responsible for performing time-card entry,data entry, and related duties in handling the day-to-day operations of the payroll processing function. What We're looking for from you - If this describes you, we'd love to meet!
  • 1+ year of administrative experience
  • A passion for getting into the Payroll field
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and with confidence
  • Self directed, able to set priorities and meet deadlines
  • High degree of competence, reliability and judgement demonstrated in all aspects of work
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with G-Suite an asset
Duties:
  • Assists in data entry, revisions and missed time for data to be available for processing of payroll and labor work tickets
  • Assists in training employees and contractors on how to use time entry and approval in the portal, acting as a resource, and providing technical assistance when required
  • Monitors accuracy and timeliness 100% accurate data throughout the workflow
  • Liaise with Human Resources, Payroll, and Project Control departments on employee/contractor records to reflect true data
  • Follow up with employees and contractors on a daily basis on time capture, providing assistance when required
  • Communicates with managers, supervisors, regarding employee and contractor time capture data
  • Daily audit of all time, labor, and equipment
  • Manage delegation of approval workflows for time entry and approval
  • Assist Payroll in employee set-up, record changes, terminations, monitoring of email
  • Assist Accounts Receivable with maintaining timely billing of outbound invoices to customers
  • Provide primary backup to the Payroll Lead when on vacation
  • Primary duties to include the administration and management of Alstar labour and equipment time entry is accurate and approval deadlines are followed
  • Greeting customers coming into the facility
  • Receive packages at the front desk
  • Order Supplies
  • Redirect inquires to the appropriate department
  • Other duties as required
