Our Senior Services Quoting Manager role will lead a team responsible for costing of execution activities for all business opportunities while coordinating with commercial regional leaders on KPIs and deliverables with a focus on services/ delivery /costing team with objectives to meet the business commercial's KPIPreparation of execution proposals/bids, contract negotiation and compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment on behalf of GE VERNOVA; In this role at this level, You'll operate with some autonomy but are covered by well-defined Commercial policies or review of end results.Job DescriptionWhat you'll do
- Responsible to lead all regions execution costing opportunities based on CSS business guidance related to Mark VI/Mark Vie/LCI/EX products.
- Developing specialized knowledge of latest commercial developments in own area and communication skills to influence others in Turbine Controls.
- Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within area of responsibility as assigned within Gas Power at GE Vernova
- Partner with Commercial regional leaders to deliver positive improvement in both ITO and Services performance as measured by KPIs.
- Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrated with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the Turbine Controls market
- Establish project execution costs based on tender conditions of project RFQ's. Coordinates with sourcing, planning, inventories, and other influencing factors to define strategy, budget and industrial scheme.
- Manages cost estimates from preliminary to final. Consolidates and optimizes costs. Validates target costs
- Utilizes in-depth knowledge of own and others sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups and uses analytical thinking and commercial experience to execute policy/strategy.
- Solution driver to set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems with projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers.
- Ability to prioritize information for decision making. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
- Explains information, developing collaborative skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues as an individual contributor.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and 6 years controls experience
- Minimum of 4 years' experience with Controls Products, control system in commercial, services, engineering and/or project management.
- Prior GE Experienced with control product systems: Mark VI/Mark Vie/LCI/EX, in commercial, services, engineering, and/or project management is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge and experience in the OT Cyber Security industry, in Mark VIe field engineering or OTR engineering.
- High proficiency with computer tools (MS Office suite).
- Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems with executing programs/projects.
