We are looking for an experienced part-time security guard to join our team!Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a retail environment expanding on your security skills but also engaging with the public providing a high level of customer service engagement? Responsibilities for a retail Security Guard
  • Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
  • Verify identities and control access to secure areas
  • React quickly to threats or incidents
  • Document incidents and actions taken
  • Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
  • Serve as a visual deterrent to shoplifting and robbery attempts
Qualifications for a retail Security Guard
  • Be authorized to work in Canada
  • Hold a valid Ontario security license
  • Valid First aid certification from a WSIB approved provider (Emergency or Standard)
  • Ability to stand and walk entire shift
  • At lease 6 months experience as a Security Guard OR working in a retail environment
  • Proficient verbal and written English communication
