In this long-term contract role, you will play a critical part in redesigning and developing our website infrastructure while ensuring seamless integration with internal systems. Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to revamp and enhance the company's website.
Oversee the integration of data into the website infrastructure, ensuring compatibility with Microsoft Dynamics GP and Business Central.
Develop and maintain eCommerce solutions tailored to B2B operations.
Utilize platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, or Magento to manage and optimize website functionality.
Implement and manage content management systems (CMS) to streamline updates and user engagement.
Write, test, and debug client-side scripts using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Ensure backend development aligns with business requirements and supports website performance.
Track and resolve website bugs and issues using tools like Atlassian Jira.
Optimize the website for usability, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
Stay current with the latest web development trends and technologies to continuously improve the platform.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in web development, with a focus on eCommerce and B2B solutions.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics GP and Microsoft Business Central.
Proficiency in using website management platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, or Magento.
Expertise in client-side scripting languages, including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Experience with backend development and integrating complex data systems.
Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools such as Atlassian Jira.
Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and their implementation.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively on cross-functional teams.
