
Intermediate Environmental Engineer

- Provide leadership, training, and operational support to junior and intermediate staff in the areas of environmental site assessment and remediation, as applicable, within the framework of Ontario Regulation 153/04;
- Manage the technical, schedule and budgetary elements of projects and provide day-to-day project management and compliance with site, corporate and regulatory standards;
- Serve as a resource in your field(s) of expertise;
- Analyze and prepare documentation, presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders;
- Gain and share knowledge through participation in technical societies and/or attendance at internal and external programs; to a degree consistent with individual and business sector goals;
- Engage with other senior members within the firm to advance our brand and standing with clients.
- Currently have or are eligible to have Professional Engineer designation in Ontario (P.Eng.);
- Over 5 years of experience in the environmental field in Ontario; Preference will be given to those with consulting experience;
- University degree in Engineering;
- Knowledge of provincial (Ontario Regulation 153/04, Ontario Regulation 406/19, Ontario Regulation 407/19, etc.), and federal (CCME) guidelines for contaminated sites assessments;
- Experience in contaminated sites investigations (Phase I/One and II/Two ESAs) is a requirement;
- Experience in remediation is preferred;
- A motivated, self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within a team environment;
- Detail oriented, organized and self-motivated individual; and
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as technical writing ability.
