Our client, a leader in the logistics industry, is seeking a Procurement Excellence Specialist to join their team. As a Procurement Excellence Specialist, you will be part of the procurement group supporting various internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, proven time management abilities, and a results-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Procurement Excellence SpecialistLocation: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)Pay Range: $28 - $30/hrShift: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per weekWhat's the Job?
  • Develop and communicate procurement initiatives to achieve or exceed targets.
  • Manage all purchase orders, requisitions, and maintain the contracts database.
  • Ensure continuous supply of goods and services by managing expiration of agreements.
  • Build and maintain constructive relationships with suppliers to leverage their capabilities.
  • Assist in sourcing qualified vendors through the complete RFx process.
What's Needed?
  • University or College level education in Commerce or Administration, preferably specializing in Procurement, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 years of experience as a Procurement Professional.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Business acumen with the ability to analyze data for informed decision-making.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP (MM module) and Ariba is an asset.
