- Assisting Project Managers and Superintendents with onsite quality control and ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety regulations
- Fostering strong relationships with clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors
- Conducting site visits and supporting shipping, receiving, and material management
- Assisting in preparing progress claims, purchase orders, change orders, cost forecasting, and subcontractor payments
- Monitoring project costs, schedule updates, and proactively identify risks
- Supporting project documentation, closeout, and warranty processes
- Managing RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, digital plans, and deficiencies
- Ensuring work aligns with the latest drawings, specifications, and LEED requirements
- Participating in pre-pour meetings, testing review, and procurement tracking
- Understanding and supporting compliance with contract obligations, insurance, bonding, and labour agreements
- Mitigating delays and support claims management
- Setting up and managing project documentation in Procore and other systems
- Taking meeting minutes, tracking action items, managing project directories, and assisting with safety documentation
- Supporting permit applications, site safety start-up, and closeout documentation
- Mentoring junior team members on processes and industry best practices
- Participating in safety investigations and promote a strong safety culture
- A degree or diploma in Engineering, CET certification, or the equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of construction project coordinator experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Capacity to efficiently prioritize and work under tight deadlines
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, project management and scheduling software
