In short, we provide the hardware, software, and expertise researchers need to get the job done.About the RoleThe Project Manager for the PacifiCan Sovereign Compute Corridor Pilot (SCCP) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering a complex portfolio of research and industry computing infrastructure initiatives across Western Canada. The role translates strategic objectives into executable plans, managing timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder expectations across multiple industry partners. Working closely with technical teams, leadership, and external stakeholders, the Project Manager ensures alignment between infrastructure delivery and program goals. They oversee governance, reporting, and compliance while maintaining clear communication across industry and government. The role is critical in identifying dependencies, resolving blockers, and adapting plans in a fast-paced, evolving environment. In addition, the Project Manager supports partnership development and funding alignment to ensure investments deliver measurable outcomes. Ultimately, this role enables the successful delivery of scalable, sovereign compute platforms that drive innovation and strengthen Canada’s economic and technological competitiveness.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computing Science or Business Administration with professional certification in Project Management and six years of related experience including experience in project management, planning, financial management, and team management, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain good working relationships and to collaborate with others to achieve project objectives.
  • Ability to develop and maintain cooperative and productive working relationships with project teams, partner organizations, and vendors
