Join a team that has the environment down to a science.Your OpportunityThe Quesnel office is looking for an energetic team player to work with our archaeology team, supporting with administrative and equipment needs. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, detail-oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment. Primary duties are logistics and administrative support to field crews and equipment management support (including maintenance, updating, and cleaning). Additional duties as required.This an hourly, casual position and the standard work week is approximately 20 hours.Your Key ResponsibilitiesAdministrative SupportSupport on general project logistics, flights and accommodationSupport project managers and staff with timecard and expenses reportsEnsuring office and first aid supplies are purchased and maintainedAssist with office event planning and meetingsProvide orientations for new staffProvide support with equipment, including electronics devices (SPOT, InReach, Sat phone) and fleet vehicles (trucks)Additional duties as assignedYour Capabilities and CredentialsValid driver’s license and clean driving recordSolid working knowledge of excel, word and outlookAbility to work alone or with minimal directionExperience with or willingness to learn devices like SPOT or InReachExperience with travel logisticsEducation and ExperienceExperience with travel logistics and equipment management would be idealExperience with MS Office SuiteThis position will involve some local travel but will primarily be based in the local office. Some overtime may be required depending on project demands. Confidence when driving in inclement weather and road conditions.   • Locations Outside of Lower Mainland - BC - Min Salary $ 44,300.00 - Max Salary $ 59,800.00

Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
