Technical Leadership & Delivery
- Act as the senior escalation point for complex GMP-related challenges, particularly across DV360 and CM360
- Provide hands-on support across key client work, troubleshooting platform issues and guiding solutions
- Maintain a strong working knowledge across the broader GMP stack (SA360, GA4, etc.)
- Lead by example, actively contributing to delivery rather than operating purely at a distance
- Lead and develop a team of experienced GMP practitioners
- Build a more scalable and resilient capability, reducing reliance on individual specialists
- Design and implement structured upskilling initiatives across the GMP stack
- Mentor senior team members and support their development in both technical and client-facing areas
- Own the P&L for the GMP function, including forecasting, planning, and performance tracking
- Identify opportunities to increase platform adoption, usage, and revenue contribution
- Drive operational improvements to support scalability, efficiency, and consistency across clients
- Contribute to the broader commercial success of the Market Intelligence function
- Partner closely with sales and growth teams to support new business opportunities
- Lead the development of technical proposals and solution design for GMP-related pitches
- Help position GMP as a strategic growth driver, not just a delivery function
- Support cross-sell and upsell opportunities across existing clients
- Work closely with media, strategy, sales, and data science teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Ensure GMP capability is aligned with broader marketing intelligence and effectiveness strategies
- Contribute to a more connected, less siloed approach across the business
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within Google GMP
- Stay at the forefront of new platform developments, features, and industry changes
- Drive adoption of new capabilities (e.g. privacy-first solutions, automation, AI-led features)
Certification and/or Licenses
Google Certifications in Campaign Manager 360, Search Ads 360 and Display & Video 360, and Google Analytics, and ideally, one or more Google Cloud CertificationsExperience - functional/industry/client/project knowledge
- A minimum of 10 years' experience within the digital agency industry.
- Well-versed in performance marketing, yielding results for clients' investments, i.e. sales/lead conversion and omni-channel acquisition
- Experience in working directly with clients & commercial teams
- Experience presenting and pitching for business with strong presentation skills
- Experience with using data connectors to enable data/signal integration and enrichment that drive marketing efficiency
- Very strong knowledge of Pmax, Value Based Bidding, and other Google tools & capabilities
- Conversant/knowledgeable of product data feeds, and preferably one or two feed products (eg. Feedonomics)
- Illustrate strong relationships with Technology partners; Google, Meta, publishers etc.
- Experience in working directly with clients & commercial teams
- Experience presenting and pitching for business with strong presentation skills
- Clear understanding of digital commercial models
- Experience with data analysis & reporting tools (e.g. Google Analytics; Looker.
- Ideally, experience with GCP tools (e.g. BQ, BQML, Vertex AI, etc.)
- Familiarity with measurement plans & tracking
