Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?We are seeking a Senior Manager, eDiscovery Services to lead and expand RBC's eDiscovery Services program within the Enterprise Legal Services team of the Law Group. In this role, you will oversee a high-performing team responsible for the end-to-end delivery of eDiscovery services—including preservation, collection, processing, and export—across complex litigation, regulatory, compliance, and investigation matters. You will be a strategic partner to senior legal, compliance, and business leaders, driving operational excellence, process and technology innovation, and best practices across all eDiscovery operations.What will you do?Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of case managers, by setting performance expectations, coaching, and supporting a collaborative cultureOversee the end-to-end delivery of RBC’s portfolio of eDiscovery request, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and risk-mitigating execution across all phases (preservation, collection, processing, exporting, archiving)Establish and evergreen operational workflows, and best practices aligned with RBC and industry standardsIdentify and implement process improvements and emerging technologies to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalabilityManage vendor relationships, including coordinating with internal and external partners (including procurement, technology and counsel) to resolve escalations and ensure performance qualityProvide strategic consultation to clients and other stakeholders on collection, search and review strategiesMaintain comprehensive tracking, reporting, and analytics to ensure defensibility, manage budgets, and demonstrate program valueWhat do you need to succeed?Must-haveBachelor's degree or relevant designation (e.g., Paralegal, Law Clerk)Deep expertise in eDiscovery operations (with a minimum of 5 years’ experience) across the full lifecycle from preservation to production, including hands-on knowledge of archiving, processing and review technologyA strategic thinking and process improvement mindset, with an ability to identify operational bottlenecks and implement creative and scalable solutionsStrong communication, stakeholder management, and influence skills; ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to all audiences, including legal and ITNice-to-haveExperience with budget management, vendor negotiations, and financial forecasting in an eDiscovery or legal operations contextFamiliarity with RBC's processes, systems, and organizational structureFormal project management or certificationWhat's in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
