- Acting as a trusted advisor to mid-level and senior leaders by providing strategic HR guidance aligned with organizational and people objectives
- Coaching leaders on HR best practices, decision-making, and approaches that foster accountability and high-performing teams
- Partnering with leaders to support organizational change initiatives and ensuring alignment with enterprise change frameworks
- Using people and workforce data to identify trends, assess needs, and recommend strategies that enhance employee engagement and operational effectiveness
- Supporting talent planning and development through succession planning, career development, and capability-building initiatives
- Leading or contributing to cross-functional HR projects that advance strategic priorities and improve employee experience
- Providing guidance on the application of HR policies, processes, and tools, while recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance
- Managing complex employee relations matters, including performance management, in alignment with legal and policy standards, and partnering with senior HR leaders as needed
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including experience in a business-partnering or consulting capacity
- Demonstrated ability to influence and advise leaders at multiple levels across an organization
- Proven success implementing people programs that positively impact culture and employee experience
- Strong ability to work cross-functionally within a large, collaborative HR team
- Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation or similar professional accreditation preferred
- Excellent communication, consulting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations effectively
- Experience supporting organizational change initiatives
- Comfort using data and insights to inform people strategies
- Exposure to large, complex, or values-driven organizations
- An effective and empathetic communicator – able to listen deeply and provide thoughtful coaching and guidance.
- A problem solver and decision maker – skilled at diagnosing challenges and developing people-centred solutions.
- Detail-oriented – attentive to accuracy and quality while maintaining awareness of broader objectives.
- An initiator – comfortable taking action based on experience, insight, and informed judgement.
