Our client is looking for a Finance Manager for a 12-month contract opportunity.The Manager, Finance is responsible for overseeing accounting operations and financial reporting to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance. This role leads the close process, maintains strong internal controls, and delivers timely financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.About the Opportunity
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
  • Oversee general ledger activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations
  • Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP) and company policies
  • Manage internal controls and support audit processes (external and internal)
  • Coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies as needed
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other core accounting functions
  • Review and improve accounting policies, procedures, and processes
  • Ensure accuracy of financial data within ERP systems
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff
About You:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards (IFRS or GAAP)
  • Experience managing full-cycle accounting and close processes
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective leadership and communication skills
