Delivery Driver

• Work in a safe manner at all times
• Perform daily vehicle inspections
• Comply with company Policies and Procedures
• Maintain punctual attendance and positive attitude
• Ability to solve problems as they arise while on road
• Manual usage and handling of dollies and other lift devices
• Build positive relationships with both our internal and external customers
• Complete assigned deliveries and pick-ups in both urban and rural locations
• Driving a company-owned trailer to and from numerous customer stops
• Lifting and carrying products.
• Responsible for transporting customer parcels in an effective and efficient manner

• You are a dedicated driver, with a proven safety record
• You must have a valid “G” Class license with a clean Drivers Abstract
• You possess good communication skills and are able to work to tight deadlines
• You are dedicated, hardworking, a good team player and customer focused with the ability to work independently
• You demonstrate excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
• Comfortable loading and unloading on your route, and efficiently use trip planning aids
• Experience monitoring vehicle performance, mechanical fitness and condition
• Must be able to lift 23 kg (50lbs.)
• Experience driving a cube truck would be an asset
• Ability to read maps and have a good sense of geographical direction
• Successfully complete a criminal record check and employment verification to qualify
