Junior Noise Engineer

- Coordinate and assist with professional acoustics, noise and vibration services for facilities, including power generating facilities, industrial/manufacturing facilities, transportation projects, etc.
- Provide technical support on project work including monitoring, modelling, development of abatement strategies, and regulatory liaison
- Assist with business development for acoustics, noise and vibration services including proposal development and client liaison
- Business travel as required

- Contribute to Dillon’s corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in environmental engineering, mechanical engineering or related discipline
- At least one year of related work experience
- Licensed / eligible to be licensed to practice as a Professional Engineer in Ontario
- Flexibility to travel throughout Canada for periods of one to three weeks, as required
- Experience in the following areas of service:
- Environmental noise
- Land development assessment
- Noise monitoring
- Vibration monitoring and assessment
- Noise and vibration mitigation
- Knowledge of acoustic assessment study requirements and facility permit procedures
- An understanding of federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations pertaining to noise issues
