The organization is currently seeking a Sourcing & Procurement Associate to join its Canadian team, reporting to the Head of Global Sourcing & Procurement.The Role:This role supports a wide range of procurement activities including supplier management, contract negotiation, purchase order lifecycle, invoice management, and process improvement. The successful candidate will be involved in strategic sourcing initiatives and play a key part in managing contingent labor processes and related procurement systems.The Associate will report locally to the Head of Sourcing & Procurement in Canada and be integrated into the broader Americas regional team.Key Responsibilities:Contingent Labor Management:Support the rollout and adoption of the organization's procurement platform (based on Ivalua) in Canada
Coordinate temporary and consultant sourcing and contract extensions
Ensure contracts are properly signed, tracked, and documented
Facilitate smooth onboarding and offboarding of temporary resources
Provide system training and troubleshoot user issues as needed
Strategic Sourcing:Assist in the development of sourcing plans in coordination with business stakeholders
Conduct spend analysis, contract reviews, and supplier evaluations
Research market trends and cost drivers to support procurement decisions
Ensure compliance with internal sourcing policies and contribute to RFP processes
Support and participate in contract negotiations
Procurement Operations:Review and validate purchase orders for policy compliance
Assess and challenge business needs where appropriate
Lead cost optimization efforts through vendor negotiation
Support vendor onboarding and risk management reviews
Align with global procurement agreements and standards
Invoice Management:Validate IT-related invoices and ensure billing accuracy
Reconcile and resolve invoice discrepancies
Process Improvement:Identify opportunities for operational improvement
Collaborate with stakeholders to implement solutions
