Duration: 6 MonthsIntroductionWe are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Enterprise Architect with a focus on MQ Middleware. This role is pivotal in designing and maintaining robust messaging solutions that integrate mission-critical mainframe systems with custom applications.Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in MQ Middleware to architect, implement, and maintain messaging solutions.
- Expertise in IBM MQ on zOS, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performance data exchange.
- Strong skills in installation, configuration, tuning, and upgrading of IBM MQ in a zOS environment.
- Proficiency in integrating applications developed in Java, .NET, COBOL, etc., with mainframe systems via MQ messaging.
- Prior work experience in a similar role or within the industry.
- Experience with performance tuning and monitoring of MQ environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex MQ-related incidents.
- Experience in scripting and automation using JCL, REXX, Python, or Ansible.
- Design and architect complex MQ messaging infrastructures on mainframe and distributed platforms.
- Lead the installation and configuration of IBM MQ components.
- Provide expert-level support for integrating custom applications with mainframe systems.
- Implement and manage security configurations, including SSL/TLS and channel authentication.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for managing MQ objects and configurations.
